Different materials and technologies within the Dailies range
Dailies products use different lens materials and technologies depending on the specific model. Dailies Total 1 is made from delefilcon A silicone hydrogel and uses Water Gradient Technology and SmarTears® Technology. Dailies AquaComfort Plus and Dailies AquaComfort Plus Toric are made from nelfilcon A hydrogel and use Alcon's moisture-release technology during wear.
Dailies AquaComfort Plus Toric also uses a toric lens design for astigmatism correction. Because material, optical design and technology differ between products, specifications should be checked for the individual lens rather than assumed to apply across the entire Dailies range.
Daily disposable Dailies contact lenses
All Dailies lenses in this collection are daily disposable contact lenses. A fresh pair is used for each new day of wear and the lenses are discarded after removal. They do not require cleaning, disinfection or overnight storage.
Daily replacement describes how often the lenses are replaced. Always follow the wearing instructions for the specific lens model and the recommendations from your optician or eye care professional.
