Collection: Alcon

Alcon is a global eye care company with roots dating back to 1945, when pharmacists Robert Alexander and William Conner opened a small pharmacy in Fort Worth, Texas. The name Alcon was created from the first syllables of their surnames. Today, Alcon operates across both Surgical and Vision Care and is one of the world's largest manufacturers of contact lenses and lens care products.

At Netlens, the Alcon range includes daily disposable and reusable monthly contact lenses for spherical vision correction, astigmatism and presbyopia, together with contact lens solutions and lubricating eye drops. Contact lens ranges available from Alcon include Dailies, Air Optix, Precision1 and Total30.

Alcon contact lenses at Netlens

Alcon offers contact lenses with different replacement schedules, materials and optical designs. The Dailies range includes daily disposable lenses, while Precision1 also provides daily disposable options. For reusable lenses, the Air Optix range and Total30 include monthly replacement contact lenses.

The exact material, optical design, lens technology and approved wearing schedule vary between individual Alcon products. Product specifications should therefore be checked for the specific lens rather than assumed to apply across the entire Alcon range.

Alcon lenses for different vision needs

The Alcon assortment includes spherical contact lenses for short-sightedness and long-sightedness, as well as lenses for other vision correction needs. If you have astigmatism, explore our toric contact lenses. If you have presbyopia and need correction at more than one distance, see our multifocal contact lenses.

Daily and reusable options are available across different Alcon ranges. You can also compare our wider selection of daily contact lenses and monthly contact lenses.

Alcon contact lens solutions and eye care products

The Alcon range at Netlens also includes products for reusable lens care. Opti-free solutions are multi-purpose care products for reusable soft contact lenses, while Aosept Plus Hydraglyde uses a hydrogen peroxide-based care system. These products have different instructions and should be used according to the directions for the specific care system.

You can explore our contact lens solutions to compare available lens care products. Alcon also manufactures Systane eye drops, which are intended for eye lubrication rather than for cleaning or storing contact lenses. See our eye drops for the products currently available at Netlens.

Choosing and reordering Alcon contact lenses

When reordering Alcon contact lenses, use the same lens model and prescription parameters recommended for you by your optician or eye care professional. Depending on the lens type, these parameters can include power, base curve, diameter, cylinder, axis and addition.

Matching prescription values alone does not necessarily mean that one Alcon contact lens can be substituted for another. Material, optical design, fit, replacement schedule and approved wearing schedule can vary between different Alcon products.
